Drivetrain Warranty

The Windrose Quality Warranty Manual and purchase invoice together constitute the official warranty certificate.
Warranty Principles
  1. Where the owner has operated and maintained the vehicle correctly and a fault occurs within the warranty period or mileage due to design or manufacturing defects, Windrose will inspect and confirm responsibility before providing warranty service free of charge.
  2. Warranty service follows the principle of "repair first, replace the minimum number of components."
  3. Warranty service covers only direct costs arising from quality defects โ€” labour, parts, consumables, and call-out fees. Indirect or consequential losses are not covered.
  4. During the warranty period, vehicles must not be self-repaired or disassembled. The fault condition must be preserved; otherwise the service station will refuse warranty service.
  5. Replacement parts provided under warranty coverage carry only the remaining warranty period of the original component.
  6. If the odometer fails and no mileage evidence is available, mileage is calculated at 28 days/month, 8 hours/day, at an average speed of 80 km/h.
Warranty Scope

From the date of purchase. Maximum component coverage: 8 years or 621,000 miles, whichever comes first.

Warranty Exclusions
The following circumstances fall outside the warranty scope:
  • 1The vehicle nameplate does not match factory specifications, or has been altered.
  • 2Non-OEM fluids, filters, or parts were used.
  • 3Fluids below the required specification were used during normal operation.
  • 4During the warranty period, a fault was self-repaired without attending a service station.
  • 5Unauthorised modification, added equipment, or changed components causing a fault.
  • 6Non-OEM replacement parts were used during repair, causing a subsequent fault.
  • 7A fault was not addressed before continued driving, causing secondary damage to further components.
  • 8Traffic accident damage without a police report or insurance claim.
  • 9Overloading or operating beyond rated capacity.
  • 10Damage from collision, fire, scratching, theft, or criminal activity.
  • 11Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, lightning, hail, sandstorm, etc.) or damage from seawater, chemical corrosion, or animal waste.
  • 12Normal wear such as noise, vibration, abrasion, and ageing.
  • 13Refusal to allow the service station to inspect or assess the vehicle.
  • 14Vehicle is outside the warranty period.
  • 15Tampering with or replacing the odometer so mileage cannot be determined.
  • 16Loss of tools, accessories, or technical documents supplied with the vehicle.
  • 17Failure to carry out scheduled inspection, adjustment, tightening, cleaning, or lubrication as required.
  • 18Neglect of wiring harness inspection causing chafing, short circuits, or electrical fire.
  • 19Illegal modification or improper use of the vehicle structure.
  • 20Abnormal damage caused by the working environment, site conditions, loading/unloading operations, or overloading.
  • 21Premature compressor wear caused by failing to replace filters on time or using low-quality filters.
  • 22Air dryer not replaced on schedule, leading to desiccant failure and brake system faults.
  • 23Unable to provide the Windrose Quality Warranty Manual or a valid proof of purchase.
